Engine Version and DAT version not showing up

I seem to have a problem pushing the agent to some new machines that were recently installed to a location of ours.

They are running Windows 7 SP1, and have the Agent Version of 4.5.0.1719

The EPO version is 4.5.0 (build 937)

The machines pushed the Agent, but do not have an Engine or DAT version.

Did I push the Agent to these machines wrong?

Thanks,

Brandon

Do you have VSE installed on the machine?

Re: Engine Version and DAT version not showing up

Hi Brandon,

Kindly create a VSE deploytment task for new systems as well as deploy the McAfee agent one the product as well as agent deployed successfully to the new systems then the DAT and engine versions will be available in ePO console.

Re: Engine Version and DAT version not showing up

This is long standing problem.   Machines with VSE installed will occassionaly report in that they have no DAT nor report an engine version.   Sometimes if one redeploys the engine they will recover.  Sometime reinstall the MA works.    Seems to happen more often on  low end, old machines.

But the issue has been around for years.

Re: Engine Version and DAT version not showing up

Pushing another install of VSE seemed to fix the issue.
