uninstall firefox 4.5.1 under Windows XP

Hi

I try to uninstall a version of firefox under windows Xp SP3 with solidcore 6.2.621

I m not to be able to uninstall because Solidcore prevented the modification of package c:\program files\Mozilla Firefox ESr\helper.exe and prevented to modify registry KHLM\software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\Uninstall\Mozillla 4.5.1\Uninstallstring ( Dword ) with noticed Helper.exe

I try to run  msiexec /x {Guid}  ,  failed

I try to  add helper.exe  like updaters : Failed

I try to add the folder Mozilla with the command skiplist -f --> Failed

I try to unsolodified the file helper.exe : failed

I try to install the new version Mozilla 5.2 --> Failed

And still revceive  the message

"McAfee Solidifier Prevented package modification by user "Authority system"

I try to add package Mozilla Version 4.5 and 5.2 in database msi package for solidcore ,> Failed

-------

I run the command sadmin features list and i see pkg -ctrl  , enabled

i read the documentation https://kc.mcafee.com/resources/sites/MCAFEE/content/live/PRODUCT_DOCUMENTATION/24000/PD24669/en_US/...

and i think is ok for me when i read page 10

--------------------------

the message in solidcore.log is : 1290 deny  pkgc operation for "'c:\program ..... \helper.exe"

1267 : Mcafee Solidifier Prevented package modification by ...........

Thanks for your answers

Re: uninstall firefox 4.5.1 under Windows XP

Please provide the full error you see in the solidcore log.

1. You can put the system in update mode.

2. You need to add the msi to installers or updaters.

3. You can trust the folder with updater permissions.

4. You can trust the cert.

There are several things you can do. Please provide the logs or the error in the logs so we can see what will be the best fix.
