Hi, I have this problem: the software of an optical measuring tool after the solidification procedure does not work. The problem is caused by solidification that does not allow the program to write .dll files in temporary folders. How can I solve the problem?'
Hi @bonafiniF ,
We would like to check the event when the application is launched. Please run the application and then open event viewer. Click on Applications and copy the event generated by SolidCore matching the time stamp of application launch.

Thank you for choosing the community.
You need first identify the process which is writing the .dll files.
If the process is unique to the application, you can then go ahead and add the process as an updater.
This will give the process the ability to modify the system anytime.
You can add it through the policy or locally using the below command.
sadmin updaters add <filename>
More information can be found in the PG.
thank you very much for the support but the problem remained. when I launch the command to put the process into update mode it works until I close the application,
the next reopening, solidcore blocks the .dll again.
Thank you for reaching McAfee community.
You may set the software as an updater by either name, hash or cert.
Hope this helps with your query
