To start with , check the status of the file . whether is solidified or not . if the file is part of the inventory , it shall not . command to check sadmin ls -lax filename IF the status shows unso , it should block and if SO it will be allowed for execution.
Now if the file is in UNSO state and still being allowed, then we need to look few different things .
> Ensure that the Solidifier is in enable state . Run sadmin status and confirm the mode
>check the solicore log [C:\Programdata\McAfee\Soldicore\Solidcorelog] and check the log with reference to application name as to why it was allowed .
