can we remove EPO client manually from client machine for example i''ve 2 or 3 machine that are solidified through EPO server and every thing including CLI is restricted however once EPO server machine crashes i need to perform some update on client machine but i can not do it because machine is no in update mode and i cannot sent begin update command from server to machine so kindly tell me what should i do to atleast recover CLI access from client machine so that i can perform upgradation.
1. CLI can be recovered using the password set from ePO. Please use the password as you must have set from ePO to recover the cli. [sadmin recover]
2. To uninstall solidcore, it must be "disabled" first.
Please open a service request if you face any further issue.
if you don't have the sadmin recover password then you have to do this
Boot computer into Safe Mode(PressF5 before windows boot screen)
Double-click DWORD RTEMode andchange value to 0
Double-click DWORD RTEModeOnRebootand change value to 0
This will put solidcore into disabled mode on reboot you should now be able to remove the agentMessage was edited by: tonyu on 2/21/12 10:05:06 AM CST
Based in this information anyone with access to Safe Mode is able to disable the product? Any workaround in order to prevent this?
