Dear All,
A "File name or path is not valid" error when add a Directories be a updater (which contain space)
May it be EPO issue (need hot-fix), Or I type something wrong?
Best regards
Tony
Does it work correctly when you use an Underscore instead of a space?
Dear DocB,
The result is no,
but, I am not sure it is because the underscore is not working, or the SEP 12.1 cannot white by this DIR
On the other hand, I have try "DIR/x" to view the related path
c:\PROGRA~2\Symantec\SYMANT~1\*
Which is also not working
I've the same problem. Please help.
Same issue here. GUI does not seem to like spaces...
workaround could be adding it trough local CLI or with "Solidcore 8.0.0 > SC: Run Commands" client task.
sadmin trusted -i "<directoryWithSpaces>"
or
sadmin trusted -u "<directoryWithSpaces>"
-i Include the volume\path set in trusted group and
allow execution of ALL files from this volume\path
-u Include the volume\path set in trusted group,
allow execution of ALL files from this volume\path and
run all binaries/scripts from this volume\path as updaters
With extension 7.0.1.160 this issue wasn't present.
Can I downgrade from extension 8.0 to extension 7.0?
Epo extention version 8.0.0.188 is available trough support which should fix this issue.
