Windows server 2012 R2 comes up in blank screen on reboot after enabling SolidCore

Jump to solution

Windows screen showing Blank( whole Black) and only mouse cursor showing and responding on mouse movement, just after reboot. And no login screen appears, moreover not able to perform even login to system. Just before reboot Solidification was run and it was Enabled. Its a Windows Server 2012 R2, with Solidcore 8.3.2 in standalone configuration.

Tried with booting in Safe Mode, and disabled Solidcore service. Then Windows was able to boot normally with login screen. And also tried running solidcore service running and Disabling SolidCore and rebooting the system, it also worked normally.

So the final issue is Windows is not able to boot normally, with Solidcore in Enable/Update mode. But working ok with Disabled mode.

Anyone faced such a issue?

Hi All,

We have our domain https://www.bookthesurprise.com/product-category/surprise-gifts/gifts-for-sister/, which is clean and doesn't contain any kind of virus/malware.

How can we have the same to appear in safe to browse category?

Looking forward to valuable guidance.

Warm regards,

Joey Tribbiani
