The McAfee Solidifier service terminated count 5703

Hi all,

I have few servers with eventID 7031.  "The McAfee Solidifier service terminated unexpextedly. It has odne this 5703 times.

Currenlty the status is in UPDATE MODE

Version in some servers is 6.2.0.555

Version in Some servers is also 6.1.0

we have ePO version 5.3.2

Can you upgrade to the latest version? You are way behind and this could be solved in a newer build. Please upgrade to atleast 6.2.2.105 and retest

Upgrading is possible for windows 2008 and up, but we still use Windows 2003 servers and for those servers upgrading is not possble.

6.2.2 still supports Server 2003. Please upgrade and test.

If you extract the software package for solidocre you will see  the packages for 2003 also.

Upgrade is one solution as it fixes lot of changes done to later buids and merged back to this version.

Incase it does not help you, Kindly configure the Application crash dump for "scsrvc.exe" as process name.

This dump will help us debug more in detail.
