Solidcore upgrade to 6.2

Hello Guys, I am planning to upgrade Solidcore(FIM) to 6.2. it is possible to upgrade it from ePO without a reboot.

Move the solidcore from enabled mode to update mode,then upgrade solidcore .It wont require a reboot

Pankaj,

You don't need to change to update mode. You can upgrade in enabled mode.

See page 21 of installation guide for step by step instructions.

But I think it is recommended to upgrade in update mode...

Hi,

upgraded my environment from MAC6.1 to MAC6.2. After upgrade a reboot is not necessary.

But to complete the upgrade the System must be rebootet. This is also visible in EPO.

Harris, it is optional since MAC 6.1.3.

Do note, the reboot is still required for the upgraded build to kick in but it can wait till the user decides to reboot next.
