There are many ways to look at the issue.
The screenshots which you have sent seems to be a EPO Screenshot. Did you check the locally on client to see if the service is really running or not. I am pretty sure you would have already checked that.
If its a linux system then try the below KB :

If its windows system- try restarting the service from command prompt :
net start scsrvc
If still doesnt help, We might need to look at the solidcore logs which is present in C:\programdata
