Solidcore blocking multiple apps

Is there a document/article that explain what these mean? I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with Solidcore blocking various Microsoft Office, Cisco, Oracle, Chrome, etc. files even though I added the directories to the Solidcore rules and also resolidified the systems.

attr list (what do the a and h mean?)

a-------------------「ccmsetup.exe」
---h----------------「chrome.exe」

ls -l (what do the r-x mean?

r-x ab85db71fd3bac7de2635e67fdfd6572b7dd9cfd pe32-dll「C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\bin\imcd72.flt」
r-x bdb95039e88bbcf9f490c2b4d53d039e0ac55f38 pe32-dll「C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\bin\imcd82.flt」

Re: Solidcore blocking multiple apps

Hi @rbenson09

Thank you for posting on the community.

attr -h is used to bypass an incompatibility with MACC memory protection techniqeus.
Chrome has the sandboxing technology, so we set attr -h as default.

You can check the detail it on https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB84042.

And r-x is permission flag as read, execution, the file is solidified and read and execution is allowed.

I hope this helps.
