Solidcore Policy in ePO

Jump to solution

we have a client that has solidcore 8.3 installed.  in ePO the policy shows as not up-to-date.  the mcafee agent appears to be communicating with no issues.  any idea as to what may be going on?

Could be many issues. Have you validated the CLI is locked down.

that was it.  The CLI was not locked down.  I locked it down and the policy is now updated.

Hi @mlajoie   As a suggestion, you might want to setup a SC: Change Local CLI Access client task from ePO with Restrict enabled, and run this task on a regular basis in your environment (daily, weekly, monthly, etc. as you desire) to ensure that your MACC clients have their CLI locked down on a regular basis (e.g., in case someone unlocks the CLI and forgets to lock it back down afterwards).
