I'm having an issue where a user is trying to install an inhouse application. Normally we'd turn on self-approval to allow the install, but it's not working. I've resorted to putting the system in Observe mode, but the installer (a .bat) is still being blocked with the deny reason as:
"File-on-network-share"
Is there a policy somewhere I'm not seeing that toggles that setting? And if so, wouldn't observe mode typically allow it to proceed regardless of how that is set?
Running 8.2.6.141

Hi Akerr,
We would suggest using updater mode.
If the issue persists please share the following details.
1) Is the BAT file executed from the System which has SolidCore or network share?
2) Does it gets its resources/dependencies from other share drives?
Thanks

Looks like update mode did work.
