RTEModeOnReboot Value changeable over Remote Registry?

Jump to solution

Hello

is it possbile that I can set the RTEModeOnReboot to value 0 while Solidcore is enabled? I think I can do this over remote registry from another pc. This can be a security issue. With the value 0 Solidcore will be disabled after the next reboot.

Thanks

MARVIN

The problem was, that we had the svchost.exe in an updater rule. After we have checked the rule and removed svchost.exe., it is no longer possible to change the registry values over remote access.

Marvin,

Can you raise a support case? It should not be possible to do this.

They will need to look into the system state to assess what is happening.
