I am new to Solidcore and I am wondering if anyone else noticed when you install the solidcore client on a system that it kicks off a global update for that system ?
Is this suppose to happen ?
The onlything I have done is just give a task to a system to install the client, nothing else after that. When i have the agent status monitor up I see a global update on the system when solid core client is installed.
When you deploy the product through the agent deployment task, the product gets installed in disabled mode.
When you run the Solidcore "enable" task, depending the platform, it can either go into update mode or observe mode.
On windows, here is how you can enable the product and observe the endpoints for new policies:
On Linux, here is how you can enable the product, Here it goes in update mode first and after it is done with initial scan, it will change the mode to enable:
Hope this helps!
