Exceptions for directories

If i add a bunch of directories like C:\xstore to our solidcore rules under directories, will that allow anything in that folder to execute? attached picture for reference

I checked Solidcore events and see a lot of entries for executions in the directories i whitelisted. The event display name is "File Write Denied", but the Deny Reason is "Not Applicable". Does this mean it was allowed or that it was blocked?
