Ban USB Binary but Allow Certain User Based on Profile Login or User Exceptions

I created a Solidcore Rules to ban the USB binary, usbstor.sys.

So any USB plugged in will not be allowed to run.

But recently we have other task that require us to copy things into the machine.

Task is for certain users, so removing the policy is not an option

Is there any way that i could put some exception or profile login based that will bypass the USB Ban policy so that the user will be able to use USB as usual.

Please help on this.

Re: Ban USB Binary but Allow Certain User Based on Profile Login or User Exceptions

Thank you for posting your query.

As per your query, If it is just a matter of sometime that you want the user to allow to user the usb then you can trust the user and then you can remove it once the job is done but when the user is allowed then it will give access to everything not just to usb.
