Thanks for your valuable suggestions
I will definitely check as mentioned by you.
For video I think u need to allow me to join the group.
Ofcourse, it will definitely help me if you can share us some more videos like how we can apply different policies regarding updaters, binaries, trusted users, filters, exceptions etc
I have checked the solidcore events & it seems that filezilla & putty are solidified,so you want to say that these are showing as solidified in the events thats why we are able to run it.But I dont know how it happens as I have added trusted user & then run these application, after that removed the trusted user.May be there might be some problem.as I tried the same scenario with another application & its working fine.
Thanks for your support ,knowledge sharing. It is really helpful for me.Thanks a lot
You can click on the event and see which agent added it to whitelist. If an updater or a trusted user changes or adds the file on disk, it will be whitelisted automatically.
Did you download the file on disk when the trusted user was logged in?
No,I didnt downloaded the file I just copied the file from my machine to the server when the user was not added in trusted list.
I didnt get your point regarding "If an updater or a trusted user changes or adds the file on disk, it will be whitelisted automatically.". You want to say that if trusted user copies any application on the server/machine that application will be whitelisted for everyone. Will that app will be solidified???
