Application Control - Fatal error during installation on Windows10

Hello,

On some Windows 10 clients I tried to install Application Control (SOLIDCOR833-129_WIN). 

I do the unmaneged installations , so no EPO server. 

The first client went well but very other client won;t install it.  I receive the McAfee Solidifier - Install shield wizard with the messag "Fatal error during installation" . 

In the log file I see:

ISSCRIPT_VERSION_MISSING = The InstallScript engine is missing from this machine. If available, please run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance.

Can you help me out ?

Hello @JulienWubbels . Thank you for reaching out to McAfee Enterprise Community. I did check with the installation failure and error message. There are several reasons for this failure. 

1. Root Certificates might be missing , Did we try updating the root certificates and tried installing the package again?. If not please update the root certificates following up the article below,

2. Please uninstall Application Control using Endpoint removal tool once , Restart the machine and try the  installation from the scratch.

Before re-installing please manually delete any of these folders if present.

• C:\Program Files\McAfee\Solidcore
• C:\ProgramData\McAfee\Solidcore
• C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Solidcore.tmp\
• C:\ProgramData\Solidcore.tmp\
