I have a user who stated she was unable to login to her Vault and when I looked at users PC I noticed that the icon for the Vault was there but the picture for the icon was not as if the path was changed. I tried to click on it and nothing was working. It appears as if it is not installed on the machine anymore but the windows menu shortcut is there.
I have looked high and low for another issue like this and I have not see anything like this.
I am sure this is very vague and not enough information but I honestly don't know what else to say or explain. Should I re-install the software? She has files that she can't access and they are extrememly important.

Restart the computer after MVT completes.
If you still cannot open McAfee Anti-Theft after running MVT, you will need to reinstall the program.
Note: Personal Vaults, and the data stored within them, will not be lost if you reinstall McAfee Anti-Theft. All Vaults will be available after a successful reinstall.
