My friedn died - his Laptop (Sony) was locked by McAfee. What can I do.

Hello guys,

My friend died in a terrible bike accident 4 weeks ago.

His mother gave me his Laptop. It keeps telling us we where locked out from mcafee because of anything was expired....

We can only choose: User password (we don't know it) or token recovery (no Idear what this is).

He had anything on this laptop like pictures, email etc.

We need to get access to this stuff...

We also can proof that this is not a stolen laptop. We have the original invoice.

So this is a help request to the McAfee Support or anyone how can help us....

              I send my condolences....It sounds as though Anti-Theft may be installed. It is "Password" protected as well as the McAfee Account. You can contact Customer Service/Technical Support by the Link below my Signature,or above under "Useful Links"

You can phone Customer Service and explain the situation and they will connect you with Technical Support.

I moved this to Anti-Theft as a better spot for it.

Please let me know if you have any issues contacting Support. I would suggest you keep POP for the Laptop and other documents handy for quicker progress.
