Hi

Run the below tool and post back the outcome

Intel® Download Center

Extract the Zip file to Desktop > Open the extracted folder > goto 64bit (depends on your OS type) > Open Command prompt as Administrator in this location using "cd" command > type "esu.exe"

Hi,

unfortunately doesn't work!

When I first run the program, AT State change stolen. I restart my notebook, and asked the password.

Ever since has no effect, the status stay active.

I wait for Your answer, Thanks!

Okay,

I was able to pull up your AT device details. Please confirm if your PC name is FOTOSTATIC-ZEN? Also I see that the Anti-theft subscription is expired. Kindly confirm the below

No changes were made to PC including Hardware/Software

No updates to Operating System

No Updates to BIOS/Firmware

Re: How can I deactivate Intel Mcafee Anti Theft time to lock?

Yes my PC name is FOTOSTATIC-ZEN

Since my subscription is expired, I upgrade my laptop's memory and change the hdd a Samsung 850 Pro sdd.

I use now Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview, the original system was Windows 7. (but I can restore Windows 8.1 64bit)

The Bios version: BIOS 214 (UX32VD) 2013/03/07 This is not the original BIOS, but I don't now, when update.

Re: Re: How can I deactivate Intel Mcafee Anti Theft time to lock?

Alright we have bigger problems

1. Hard Disk change would result in Incompatibility with Anti theft related Hardware and Software - We are stuck here

2. BIOS update might cause issues with AT - functionality - also stuck here

3. Support for McAfee is not offered for Win 10 Tech Preview.

This isn't good news.

But I want only disable AT Status -> never ask for a password at startup

My Windows I can restore Windows 8.1 64bit.
