Computer blocked referring to anti-theft protection blockage - how to resolve ?

Today out of the blue my computer did not start-up. It showed a screen mentioning that the system is locked.

Intel(R) Anti-Theft Technology system lock due to : Platform Attack detected

There are two choices either recover by using a User Password or by a Server Token Password.

I have tried both options but failed. Intell, McAfee cannot help us and the IT-specialist cannot access the hard-drive to solve the problem.

Can we get some advise on how to solve this

Re: Computer blocked referring to anti-theft protection blockage - how to resolve ?

Please refer to this

Support to Anti-theft Service ended 2 years back and there has been several email notices sent to customers requesting to un-enroll the service prior to EOL.

If your device is locked you may be able to retrieve your unlock password through the Anti-Theft web portal through the expired subscriptions link on the subscription page of My Account. Support does not have access to your password. The ability to unlock your device remains unchanged; you will need to enter your 8 character unlock password. If you are unable to remember or recover your unlock password, the Anti-Theft service will follow its design and lock the device. At this point, your only option would be to contact your computer’s manufacturer to request service - in most cases this means replacing the motherboard.

Thanks for the quick response however we have never registered ourselves nor bought any services from McAfee. Until today we even did not have an account set-up.

Is there no way there is a solution with the Server Token Password ?

The last line in the previous post would apply unfortunately in your case.
