Livesafe spam not removed to spam folder MS Outlook

I am running LiveSafe on Windows 8.1 Outlook 2016. Sometimes the spam emails are identified with a [spam] header, but not removed to the spam folder. This leaves me with many unwanted spam emails in my inbox. How can I fix this? Also, is it possible to tell Mcafee to scan a folder on demand for spam?

RE scan for spam no as far as I see no way re other issue best to call support
