ATD 3000 /system-3.6.2.21.57069

Hi Experts,

I have downloaded ATD system-3.6.2.21.57069. Its in .msu format. How do i install this in vmware ?

The ATD is an appliance, there is no VM version for it

The MSU is a system software update for an ATD hardware appliance.  It isn't something that is installed in vmware.  It also isn't a full reimage package for ATD.  There is a separate file for that and then you install the msu on top of it.

I do see ATD 3000 and 6000 eligible for download. Is this appliance for download or is it an hardware appliance that I need to check with McAfee ?

The MSU file applies to both the 3000 and 6000 series appliances.  It is the same file for both.

Hi,

the Software for ATD-3000/6000 cannot be installed in a virtual environment. We also tested in our LAB and discussed this with Mcafee SEs. This makes no sense.

But, the virtual ATD will be available soon to be installed in virtualized environments.
