Any response from McAfee on this? I have opened a ticket, no resolution has been found there either.
I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Seems kind of silly to be able to allow users to self register their devices but not have them default to corporate ownership.

you would generally have more strict rules for BYOD in terms of not configuring VPN or proxie and such... To put it another way corporate devices generally would have greater access to your internal network so they default to personal so that you by default get the least access.
to have 1 user under 2 policies...there is only one way. 1 created policy and 1 is the corp policy
Sucks when you sell this as a service. We have a few clients with a personal and company supplied device. Ok so client A and client B, policy A and policy B work for company phones, and they can be different. But for personal phones we are forced to use the Corporate policy. But that is a domain policy, so we have to leave that pretty open not to **** some people off. That has turned into our personal policy. Sucks.
