If a domain is using SPF and a server send a message which isn´t in the SPF list many companies directly delete that email. Same for the company where I work for. So the only way to keep me informed about my postings here is to check them all by hand ...
We had this same issue internally for community emails. I believe we had to put a policy exception in place for this on our appliance. Since our site is hosted by Jive , the email notifications originate from servers in their environment. I apologize for any confusion and inconvenience.
I think a good option would be to add the Jive Server to the SPF record on your side. That should solve the issue (as long as Jive didn´t change the IP, otherwiese the DNS name would be also very fine).
Currently I´m completly cut off from the forum and need to check every day if I have a response... that didn´t really speed up solving the issues we have here with the trial version.
So in the end... you start with a trial version, where you couldn´t open a case and your only way is to get support via McAfee community where the emails are detected as SPAM because they mess up with there own SPF record ...
Not a very good start for the trial version :-(.
