A malware classified by McAfee as BackDoor-DOQ.gen.y (Trojan) has been found to be linked to several thousand (over 200,000) websites. Hacked websites contain an invisible iFrame which redirects visitors to a malicious website (318x dot com) which downloads the malware code and executes it on the computer.This Malware tries to utilize known vulnerabilities in software like Adobe, Internet Explorer and other Microsoft products to try and infect the system and gain privileges. Once infected, the Malware can log banking credentials and also perform malicious bidding activities.
