SNS ProTip for ePO : Blue Screen Errors may occur on NUMA based systems after installing McAfee Agent 5.0.x

    After installing MA 5.0.x on systems with NUMA processors (typically CPU counts over 64), the system may encounter a continual reboot loop as it bugchecks on startup. This is caused by the interaction of NUMA nodes and therefore only occurs on NUMA computers with multiple nodes. It does not affect non-NUMA computers. Intel Security recommends reverting back to a previous version of McAfee Agent in the event you encounter this issue.

    This issue will be resolved in MA 5.0.3 which is scheduled for release in Q1 of 2016.
