Intel Security SNS ProTip for VSE: Buffer Overflow violations after installing VSE 8.8 Patch 4

    VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8 Patch 4 has greatly increased the scope of the Buffer Overflow Protection (BOP) feature. BOP now monitors everything that is also monitored by Windows Data Execution Prevention. Because of this, an administrator may experience Buffer Overflow violations where none existed in the past, simply by upgrading VSE.
