Intel Security SNS ProTip for ePO: How to Include McAfee Agent 5.x on an Image

Version 1

You can install McAfee Agent on an image that is deployed to multiple systems. However, to ensure the agent functions properly, you must install the McAfee Agent on the master image without a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID).  The GUID must be unique for each endpoint in your environment for McAfee Agent to function properly. Installing McAfee Agent without removing the GUID will cause duplicate systems to appear in the ePO system tree.

Refer to KB84356 (https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB84356) for more information and steps to remove the GUID from the McAfee Agent on your master image.
