Cannot log in to the ESM due to a database rebuild after a reboot or service restart.

Cause: The ESM database is down for maintenance and the system won't allow you to login until this is complete. This operation usually happens after a recent restart of the cpservice, or if the ESM was recently rebooted.

Resolution:This error message is usually the result of cpservice being restarted, and in most cases does not require any further action. If, however, the rebuild takes significantly longer than an hour, you may have another problem and will need to contact Technical Support.

For more information and instructions on how to open a service ticket, see KB82384After a reboot or service restart, you cannot log in to the ESM due to a database rebuild.
