Announcing McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Files & Folders 4.0 Patch 1

    Available now, McAfee announces the release of McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Files & Folders(EEFF) version 4.0 Patch 1.

    This is a full patch release comprising of 75+defect fixes and some additional product enhancements listed in the section below.

     

    New Features in this Release:

    • Support for User Based Policies for CD/DVD Encryption
    • Performance improvements in EERM resulting in significantly reduced initialization times for removable media
    • Support for NetApp, Samba and EMC network shares
