EEPC 6.1 Patch 3 completes FIPS Certification

    I am very pleased to announce that McAfee Endpoint Encryption for PC (EEPC) v6.1 Patch 3 has successfully completed FIPS 140-2 certification. CMVP has issued certificate  1677 and 1686 for two discrete cryptographic modules, which will be posted to the NIST website shortly. With this certification, McAfee is now first to market with a certified full disk encryption product that utilizes Intel AES-NI technology. This is a significant benefit to our customers and a market differentiator.
