Host IPS Security Content February Update 4192 Removed from Common Updater Repository
Host IPS security content, version 4192, posted February 14, 2012, has been removed from the ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Master Repository due to a reported issue on x64 systems running Host IPS 8.0.

McAfee Labs is working to resolve the issue and will post an updated February Security Content Package as soon as possible.

McAfee has identified an issue where an attempt to upgrade an EMM installation that was originally installed with a custom encryption key (typically in High Availability or Migrated EMM environments) will fail.

Changes to Web Gateway 7 URL Localhost Redirection
This notice is for customers who have special Web Gateway rules in place to take advantage of URL request redirections to the local file server of the Web Gateway. An example of this would be for proxy.pac hosting.

Due to product changes in all upcoming releases (7.1.6.1 and 7.1.0.7), the current method of rewriting URLs to localhost will no longer work. See KB74168 for steps to ensure that your file server hosting will not be interrupted:

End of Sale (EOS) and End of Life (EOL) for Network User Behavior Analysis
As of April 16, 2012, McAfee will no longer sell Network User Behavior Analysis (NUBA) sensors, manager, subscriptions, or accessories. The End of Support date for the NUBA-specific Signature Service is April 16, 2013.

NUBA Appliance products will enter a two year limited support phase on April 16, 2015, and will be supported until April 16, 2017. At that time, NUBA will be completely End of Life (EOL), and no additional support will be provided.

We understand that this is an expedited timeframe from our normal EOS/EOL communications and appreciate the flexibility and patience of our customers, partners and sales teams.
