1.     It’s easy!

Message Audit is a simple search tool that allows you to easily investigate message delivery outcomes.  You can search by message details, Message ID, or input a full Internet header. There is also a tool for identifying if an IP address is blocked at our firewall using the Perimeter Block Search. Click on Email Protection, then Message Audit for access.

2.     It’ll save you time.

Often, a quick search with message Audit will give you the information you need, saving you a call to support or waiting for ticket results. If you do have to submit a ticket or have a question about results that you find in Message Audit, providing it to support will save us time troubleshooting your issue.

3.     It’s a great troubleshooting tool.

Need to find out if a message was delivered, what the IP address of a sender was or what action the McAfee SaaS filter took on a message? It’s all in the results. It’s the first place our technical support reps go when investigating an email issue because Message Audit gives us a lot of information.
