Find your way - Content, People, and Places

There are many ways of finding content, people, or places in the McAfee Community. These include the User Bar, tabs, and searching.
The User Bar
The User Bar is universal to all community members and can be seen near the top of all pages.
Tabs
In each community page, you will see tabs named Overview (default), All Content, Discussions, Documents, and Blog tabs. The provide easy acces to the most commonly used content types.
You can also change the default tab by clicking a tab and then clicking Set as default tab.
Searching
A quick way to find answers is to you use the Search box. Just type your search words or phrases.
The intelligent search shows you the closest pattern matches as you type. If you want, you can select an item in the list.
Finish typing your search words or phrases and then either press ENTER or click the magnifying glass. You then see your search results with the closest matches displayed at the top.
If you have a very long results list or if you want to narrow your search, you have several filters available to you:
On the right are some extra options that can help you find what you are looking for.
| People | If any community member profiles matched your search, they will be listed here. If not, and you want to look for someone, click Advanced People Search, where you can browse for the person that you are looking for. |
| Places | If any community places matched your search, they will be listed here. If not, and you want to look for a place, you can browse all communities by clicking spaces. If you prefer, you can browse projects or groups by clicking the relevant link. |
