Help! Virus Scan detected this virus but could not clean it, so I quarantined it. Is that the right thing to do? My preference would be to get rid of it althgether. The file name is M0000000745.msg. It's location is c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\mcafee\spamkiller\users\1\front\2\.

I am not a techie, but have decent computer skills. Thanks is advance.

Quarantine and delete emails that have the Sober detection.

Thank you. I have no ideas where the virus came from. Is there a way to tell which email was carrying it? I don't get a lot of spam. Thanks again.

Usually it wil be an email with some sort of attatchment. In most cases posing to be a Microsoft fix, or some sort of program to verify a password or file.
